Hello! In case you'd like to hear a little about us...this is the page. We've
lived in various places throughout the United States, and enjoyed
frequent travel. A while ago now, on a trip and in the midst of
discussions about starting our own business, we drove past a Bed and
Breakfast, then another, and then another...and it dawned on us...as
much as we've been on the road, one thing we know is what it takes to
make a traveler comfortable. |

So
we started our research, reading, reading, reading, talking with
innkeepers, and watching for a property that seemed to be a good fit for
what we had in mind. We were thrilled to come upon High House (formerly
operated as the Highlander Inn) in Blooming Grove, Texas, and soon came
to realize what a perfect fit both the house and town were for our
vision of rural lodging, comfort, and recreation. Blooming Grove (The Friendliest Town in Texas - and they've earned the title) is a wonderful place to sit back, relax, enjoy a meal and then move on to the rest of your day - whether that's reading a good book, searching out antiques, hiking, going to an amusement park, or simply visiting family.
