It the time of year for Christmas decorations, and if you'd like to combine a little getaway with seeing some lights, this is the time for that. Our decor will be up by November 28, and the neighbors are out, too, doing their part. Come spend the evening with some spiced cider, by the fireplace, enjoying the tree after a quick walk around town to see the lights. You have to admit, one of the nice things about it being dark early is being able to walk around and enjoy all those Christmas decorations while it's still early!
One of the nicest things about Blooming Grove is our central, yet rural, location. Here in Blooming Grove, you are away from it all. You can sit on the porch, sip coffee, and read a book or just rest in complete peace. You can take a walk and check out the neighborhood, the Veteran's Memorial park, and the quaint (and quite miniscule downtown). On the other hand, if you're up for a little action, you have an enormous range of options, from shopping and dining in Coriscana (just fifteen minutes away) to regional attractions such as The Texas State Railroad, Six Flags at Arlington, and downtown Dallas, all approximately an hour's drive from us.
